Exhibition: Stones are the raw materials of the city. Its source is the sky that is shaped by the need arising from the growth of the city, its cover is the soil. Man-made craters introduce us to the dusty face of global economy while promising rising buildings. While buildings rise, craters get deeper.
Biography: Bekir Dindar was born in İstanbul. He completed his undergraduate studies at Bahçeşehir University Department of Electronics and Anadolu University Department of Economics. After 4 years of working and dabbling with photography at an amateur level, he decided to put photography right in the center of his life and started Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University Department of Photography, where he is currently studying. Interested in documentary-type photography works concerning cities and the urban life, Bekir Dündar has held a personal exhibit and attended various group exhibits and projects.
