Exhibition: The International Golden Karagöz Folk Dance Competition is an event where dance troupes from all around Turkey and different regions of the world compete, and it takes place in Bursa every year. These troupes display their dances, music and cultures and let us experience them. We see and watch countries that we may not have known, seen or heard of before. I believe this is a wonderful gain for us. Why dance? Since ancient times, dance has been a way for communities to express themselves and demonstrate their inner lives with their body language, as a unique art, as well as a special sort of sport. Also dance is a symbol of peace and love, and is an important concept that awakens the soul.
